starving blogist

thank you for your answer but im afriad its left me with even more questions:

good blesses non-Christians, but does he bless all non-christians, or merely those that he knows will become christian through seeing his blessings?

why does he bless non-christains? isnt that kind of fighting the cause. why would they turn to him if they’re being blessed with out knowing him?

why would a sovereigrn god create some one he knows will never be a christian? (i believe this was the underlying question in the previous blog)

or does god stategicly place an oppertunity to meet him with in everybodies life and leave the aproach and “hand shake” up to us?

ps: i tried downloading one of the “ask mark”s but it didnt work. ill try again though.

  1. So I have two boys. One son is very obedient. He follows my wise counsel and through it, is blessed. My other son becomes wayward, leaves home and does things I disapprove of. Because the wayward son does not follow my advice, he faces hardship his brother does not.

Because I am a loving mother who wants the best for her children, I will help the wayward son anyway I can, even though he does things I do not agree with.

Now, I have an inheritance. I tell my boys, if you are obedient and follow my counsel, you will recieve it. One listens one does not. Now in this life, I help both equally, though one is wayward. I love them and despretely want my wayward son to come back. I want to make sure he recieves his inheritance.

However he does not and when I pass away he does not recieve it and his brother does.

Do you understand? The non-Christian is the wayward son. God loves him deeply and desires him to be rightious so that he can inheret the kingdom of God. But, that does not mean God will not take care of him in this life. He loves us so passionately and even though we run from Him and act like the wayward son, He still shows us mercy and grace and gives us blessings we do not deserve.
